 2. The EMIS (Educational Management Information System) form should not be mandatory and for which, reliance has been placed on the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.205, School Education (C2) Department, dated 31.07.2000 as well as the Division Bench order by this Court in W.P.No.18488 of 2016, decided on 15.06.2016. 

 3. It is urged that such provisions cannot be made mandatory and hence, the insistence of the authorities or otherwise, particularly, in Schools should be restrained.
