குழந்தை பெற்றால் 'இன்கிரிமென்ட் | 'Increment' if you have a child... 

அரசுத் துறையில் பணிபுரியும் பெண் ஊழியர்கள் ஒரு குழந்தைக்கு மேல் பெற்றுக் கொண்டால் ஊதிய உயர்வு வழங்கப்படும் என சிக்கிம் மாநில அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது. மக்கள் தொகை அதிகமுள்ள நாடுகளில் சீனாவுக்கு அடுத்தபடியாக இந்தியா 2-வது இடத்தில் உள்ளது. 

இந்தியாவில் குறைந்த மக்கள் தொகை கொண்ட மாநிலம் சிக்கிம். பிறப்பு விகிதத்தை உயர்த்த அதிக குழந்தைகளை பெற்றுக் கொண்டால் சிறப்பு ஊதிய ஊயர்வு வழங்கப்படும் என்று அம்மாநில அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது.

  அரசு துறையில் பணிபுரியும் பெண் ஊழியர்கள் இரண்டாவது குழந்தை பெற்றால் ஒரு முறை ஊதிய உயர்வும், மூன்றாவது குழந்தை பெற்றால் இரண்டு ஊதிய உயர்வும் வழங்கப்படும் என முதல்வர் பிரேம் சிங் தமங் அறிவித்துள்ளார். 

அவர் கூறுகையில், ''பிறப்பு விகிதம் குறைவது பெரிய பிரச்னை. இதை கணக்கில் கொண்டு பல்வேறு நடவடிக்கைகளை எடுக்கிறோம்,'' என்றார்.

Sikkim is the least populated state in India. The state government has announced that a special wage hike will be given if more children are born to increase the birth rate. Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang has announced that women employees working in the government sector will be given one pay hike if they have a second child and two pay hikes if they have a third child.

He said, "Decreasing birth rate is a big problem. Taking this into account, we are taking various measures,'' he said.
