அரசு பள்ளிகளில் மாணவர்களின் கல்வித்தரத்தை வலுப்படுத்த ஆசிரியர் காலிப்பணியிடங்களை உடனடியாக நிரப்பவேண்டும் என டாக்டர் அன்புமணி ராமதாஸ் வலியுறுத்தி உள்ளார். இந்தியாவிலேயே மோசமான நிலை பா.ம.க. தலைவர் டாக்டர் அன்புமணி ராமதாஸ் வெளியிட்டுள்ள அறிக்கையில் கூறியிருப்பதாவது:- தமிழ்நாட்டு அரசுப்பள்ளி மாணவர்களின் கல்வித்தரம் குறித்த 2022-ம் ஆண்டுக்கான ஆண்டு கல்வி நிலை அறிக்கை அண்மையில் வெளியிடப்பட்டது. அதில் ஆய்வுக்கு உட்படுத்தப்பட்ட 1-ம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்களில் 59.1 சதவீதத்தினருக்கு தமிழ் எழுத்துக்களைக்கூட படிக்கத் தெரியவில்லை. 31.1 சதவீதத்தினருக்கு எழுத்துகளைப் படிக்கத்தெரிந்தாலும் சொற்களை படிக்கத்தெரியவில்லை. 42 சதவீதத்தினருக்கு 1 முதல் 9 வரையிலான எண்களைக்கூட அடையாளம் காணமுடியவில்லை என்று தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. 

 அதேபோல், 5-ம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்களில் 25.20 சதவீதத்தினராலும், 7-ம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்களில் 51.30 சதவீதத்தினராலும் தான் 2-ம் வகுப்பு பாடத்தை படிக்க முடிகிறது. 3-ம் வகுப்பினரில் 95.20 சதவீதத்தினரால் 2-ம் வகுப்பு பாடங்களை படிக்க முடியவில்லை. இந்தியாவிலேயே இந்த அளவுக்கு மோசமான கல்வித்தரம் தமிழகத்தில்தான் இருப்பதாகவும் அதில் கூறப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. வகுப்புக்கு ஒரு ஆசிரியர் 8-ம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்களில் 74.50 சதவீதத்தினருக்கு 11 முதல் 99 வரையிலான எண்களைத்தெரியவில்லை. 71.40 சதவீதம் மாணவர்களுக்கு கழித்தல் தெரியவில்லை. 42.20 சதவீதத்தினருக்கு எளிமையான ஆங்கில வாக்கியங்களை படிக்கத்தெரியவில்லை என்றும் கல்வி நிலை அறிக்கையில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

 அரசுப்பள்ளிகளில் மாணவர்களின் கல்வித்தரம் சீரழிந்து வருவதற்கு முதன்மைக்காரணம் ஆசிரியர்கள் பற்றாக்குறைதான். எனவே, தமிழ்நாட்டில் அரசுப்பள்ளிகளை வலுப்படுத்தும் நோக்குடன், அனைத்து காலிப் பணியிடங்களையும் உடனடியாக நிரப்பவேண்டும். அடுத்தக்கட்டமாக வகுப்புக்கு ஒரு ஆசிரியரை நியமிக்க இலக்கு நிர்ணயித்து, அதை குறிப்பிட்ட காலத்திற்குள் நிறைவேற்றவும் அரசு நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கவேண்டும். இவ்வாறு அதில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

President Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss has said in a statement:- The annual education status report for the year 2022 regarding the education level of Tamilnadu government school students has been published recently. 59.1 percent of the 1st class students surveyed could not even read Tamil alphabets. 31.1 percent could read letters but could not read words. It was reported that 42 percent could not even recognize the numbers 1 to 9.

  Similarly, only 25.20 percent of the 5th grade students and 51.30 percent of the 7th grade students are able to read the 2nd grade subject. 95.20 percent of Class 3 students could not read Class 2 subjects. It is also said that Tamil Nadu has the worst level of education in India. One teacher per class found that 74.50 percent of 8th grade students did not know the numbers from 11 to 99. 71.40 percent students do not know deduction. 42.20 percent cannot read simple English sentences, it has been reported in the education status report.

  Lack of teachers is the primary reason for the deteriorating standard of education of students in government schools. Therefore, with a view to strengthening government schools in Tamil Nadu, all vacant posts should be filled immediately. In the next step, the government should set a target to appoint a teacher for each class and take steps to accomplish it within a specified period. It says so.
