 வர்த்தகக் கலைப் படிப்புகள் 

 கடந்த கால் நூற்றாண்டாக அறிவியல் மற்றும் பொறியியல் படிப்பு ஆதிக்கம் செலுத்தி வந்தன. ஆனால், இப்போது அந்தப் படிப்புகளுக்கான வரவேற்பு சற்றுக் குறைந்து, வர்த்தகப் படிப்புகளுக்கான முக்கியத்துவம் அதிகரித்து வருகிறது. இதற்கு முக்கிய காரணம், வங்கித் துறை, இன்சூரன்ஸ் துறை, மியூச்சுவல் பண்ட் துறை எனப் பல துறைகள் கணினி மயமாகிவிட்டன. இதனால் அனைத்து மக்களுக்கும் நிதிச் சேவை வழங்கப்படுவது சாத்தியமாகி இருக்கிறது.

 மனிதர்களுக்கு வரும் நோய்களைக் குணப்படுத்தும் மருத்துவப் படிப்புக்கு என்றுமே தனி மவுசு உண்டு. காரணம், அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பத்தின் வளர்ச்சிக்கேற்ப புதுப்புது நோய்கள் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றன. இந்த நோய்களைத் தீர்க்கும் மருத்துவர்களின் தேவையும் வெகுவாக அதிகரித்து வருகிறது. அதுவும் தற்போதைய சூழலில், மருத்துவத்துறையில் தனிப்பட்ட நிபுணத்துவம் வாய்ந்த மருத்துவர்கள் அதிகரித்து வருகின்றனர். ரோபாட்டிக் சர்ஜரி, ஆர்ட்டிபீஷியல் இன்டெலிஜென்ஸ், ரோபாட்டிக்ஸ் முதலிய தொழில்நுட்பங்களைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளும்பட்சத்தில் மருத்துவப் படிப்பு படித்தவர்களுக்கு இனி சிறப்பான வரவேற்பு கிடைக்கும். கால்நடைகளுக்கான முக்கியத்துவம் அதிகரித்து வருவதால், கால்நடை மருத்துவப் படிப்புக்கும் இனிவரும் காலத்தில் நல்ல வரவேற்பு கிடைக்கும். 

 கம்ப்யூட்டர் சயின்ஸ், எலெக்ட்ரிக்கல் மற்றும் எலெக்ட்ரானிக்ஸ் 

என்ஜினீயரிங் பொறியியல் துறையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டால், கணினி அறிவியல், எலெக்ட்ரிக்கல் மற்றும் எலெக்ட்ரானிக் பொறியியல் துறையில் நிறைய வேலைவாய்ப்புகள் உள்ளன. பொறியாளர்களுக்கான தேவை என்றுமே அதிக அளவில் உள்ளன. ஐ.டி தொழில்நுட்பத்தின் தேவை குறிப்பிட்ட சில பிரிவுகள் என்றில்லாமல், இன்று அனைத்துத் துறைகளிலும் தேவைப்படுகின்றன. 

 தாவரவியல் மற்றும் விலங்கியல் 

 இளங்கலை மூன்றாண்டு படிப்பான தாவரவியல் மற்றும் விலங்கியல், பலராலும் கவனம் பெறாத படிப்பாக உள்ளது. மருத்துவப் படிப்புகளுக்கான அடிப்படை, பள்ளிகளில் படிக்கிற தாவரவியல் மற்றும் விலங்கியல் பிரிவுகள்தாம். இன்று தனியார் கல்லூரிகள் அதிக அளவில் தாவரவியல் மற்றும் விலங்கியல் பிரிவுகளை வழங்குவதில்லை. இதனால் பள்ளிகளில் இந்தப் படிப்புகளைக் கற்றுத் தருவதற்கான ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு பற்றாக்குறை நிலவுகிறது. அதனால் தாவரவியல் மற்றும் விலங்கியல் பாடப்பிரிவுகள் படித்தால் எதிர்காலத்தில் குறைந்தபட்சம் ஆசிரியர் வேலைவாய்ப்பு கிடைப்பது உறுதி. 

 கணிதம் மற்றும் புள்ளியியல் படிப்பு 

 எல்லோருக்கும் தெரிந்த படிப்புதான் கணிதம் என்றாலும் இன்றைக்கு கம்ப்யூட்டர் மற்றும் நிதி சார்ந்த துறை உள்பட பல்வேறு படிப்புகளுக்கு மிக முக்கியமான தேவையாக இருக்கின்றனர் கணிதம் மற்றும் புள்ளியியல் படிப்பினைப் படித்த மாணவர்கள். ஆசிரியர் பணி என்கிற குறைந்தபட்ச எதிர்பார்ப்பினைத் தாண்டி, டேட்டா அனாலிட்டிக்ஸ், ஆக்சூவரி உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு துறைகளில் நல்ல சம்பளத்துடன்கூடிய வேலைவாய்ப்பு இருக்கிறது. வெறும் கணிதப் படிப்பு என்பதுடன் நின்றுவிடாமல், பைதான், ஆர் லாங்குவேஜ் ஆகிய படிப்புகளையும் கற்று வைத்திருந்தால், பன்னாட்டு நிறுவனங்களில் வேலைவாய்ப்புகளைப் பெறுவதற்கு மிகவும் உதவியாக இருக்கும். இளங்கலை கணிதப்படிப்பு படித்தாலே நல்ல வேலை கிடைக்கும் என்கிறபோது, முதுகலை கணிதப் படிப்பினைப் படித்தால் எத்தகைய வரவேற்பு இருக்கும் என்பதைச் சொல்ல வேண்டியதே இல்லை.
